giving in

does it make you wet,
the way it moves,
how it soothes
the beast
inside of you?

the broken flower
that meant so much,
who was in touch,
but it was never
quite enough.

someone
who craved for
something more
to adore
when the nighttime
bore down
upon the trembling
ground
and forced
an incredible sound
from the core
like a war
waged within,
battling for something
more
than simply sin.

it was easy when
life didn't seem
so troubled
before the heat
in you doubled
and the warm wet
of you bubbled
and frothed
before you felt
so lost.
and you decided at
any cost
you would
find those lines
you've crossed
and toss
caution to the wind
and embrace the sin
you have craved
like a white flag
waved in the face
of desire
when you finally
gave in
to the temptation
within.

but now
that feeling is gone
and you wonder
if you were wrong
for singing the song
of love lost for so long.

there is a throbbing
in your heart
from where it all
fell apart,
but you know
you can start
anew.
